Men’s Lacrosse Wins Fourth-Straight ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥C Championship

ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥ men’s lacrosse team completed the four-peat on Saturday, April 29, at Don Melander Field in Henniker, New Hampshire, winning the New England Collegiate Conference (ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥C) Championship for the fourth consecutive time with a 17-5 victory over visiting Eastern Nazarene College.

Up 6-3 at halftime, the ‘Grims pulled away in the third quarter, taking control with six unanswered goals. The Lions didn’t score in the second half until 11:43 left in the fourth quarter.

New England College becomes the final champion in the history of the ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥C, receiving their trophy in a post-game ceremony. The Pilgrims advance to the CSAC-ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥C Alliance Championship game against Rosemont College on Saturday, May 6.

Playing for the final New England Collegiate Conference (ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥C) Women’s Lacrosse Championship in league history, New England College defeated visiting Mitchell College 13-0 on Saturday afternoon at Don Melander Field in Henniker, New Hampshire.

The Pilgrims scored two quick goals in the first 39 seconds of the game, taking a 10-0 lead just before halftime and never being threatened.

ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥ concludes their 2023 campaign as the last school ever to claim the ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥C conference championship. They will be joining the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) in the 2024 season. Congratulations to the entire team on an outstanding season!
